myna
Private beta

Welcome — you're one of the first.

Thank you for testing Myna early. You're here before the public launch, which means your feedback genuinely shapes what we build next. This page is your 5-minute guide to getting set up and knowing what to poke at.

Get set up (about 5 minutes)

  1. 1 Open Myna and create your household — you're the parent / admin.
  2. 2 Add at least one other person: a partner, a child, or a helper. (Even adding one makes the app come alive.)
  3. 3 Say hello to Aunty in the chat. She'll help you set things up from there.

What to try first

You don't have to do all of these — but the more corners you push on, the more useful your feedback is.

Talk to Aunty

Open the chat with Aunty and just ask in plain English — "remind me to pay the school fees Friday", "add eggs and milk to the shopping list", "what's on this week?". She's the heart of Myna; this is the first thing to try.

Set a task with a nag

Give a family member a task with a due date. Myna will nag them about it — on a kid's phone, Aunty even says it out loud. See if the reminders land the way you'd want.

Add to the shopping list

Add a few items by voice or text and watch them auto-sort into categories. Try messy input like "stuff for dinner" and see what Aunty does with it.

Put something on the calendar

Add an event (try the date picker). If you use Google or Apple Calendar, turn on sync and check it flows both ways.

If you have a helper

Add a helper account and try the auto-translation on chat and voice notes. This is one of Myna's most loved features — we'd love your read on it.

Message & call the family

Send messages, voice notes, and try a call between members. Reactions, replies, voice-to-task — poke at all of it.

How to tell us what you think

Good, bad, confusing, broken — we want all of it. The blunt feedback is the most valuable. A few ways to reach us:

  • On iPhone: in TestFlight, take a screenshot and it'll offer to send feedback — or shake the phone to report. Quickest way to flag something.
  • On Android: reply in the testers group, or just message me directly.
  • Anytime: email [email protected]. Screenshots and "I expected X but got Y" are gold.

A few heads-ups

  • It's a beta. A few rough edges and the odd bug are expected — that's exactly what you're helping us find.
  • It's free while you're testing. No payment, no card.
  • It needs a connection. Calls, Aunty, and translation all run in the cloud, so keep your phone online.
  • Please keep it installed for a couple of weeks. Real value (and the most useful feedback) shows up once it's part of your daily rhythm — and on Android, keeping it installed genuinely helps us clear Google's testing requirements before launch. 🙏

That's it. Thank you for being early — it means a lot. Now go say hi to Aunty.
